Washington, D.C: President Trump and President Xi agreed that the United States and China should develop a partnership of strategic stability based on fairness and reciprocity.

This week, President Donald J. Trump and President Xi Jinping found accord on a number of subjects that would boost stability and trust for companies and consumers throughout the globe during the first visit of a U.S. President to the People’s Republic of China since 2017.

President Trump plans to meet with President Xi in Washington this autumn. The two nations will mutually assist each other as the respective hosts of the G20 and APEC Summits later this year.

Both presidents agreed that Iran cannot acquire a nuclear weapon, urged for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and agreed that no nation or organization may be permitted to levy tolls.

President Trump and President Xi reiterated their commitment to the denuclearization of North Korea.

Trump and Xi established two new institutions to take advantage of the bilateral economic relationship, the U.S.-China Board of Trade and the U.S.-China Board of Investment, laying the foundation for this landmark accord.

The Board of Trade will empower the United States Government and the Government of China to regulate bilateral trade in non-sensitive commodities.

The Board of Investment would provide a venue for government-to-government dialogue on investment concerns.

White House claims that US President Trump secured a full range of promises that will create high-paying American jobs and new markets for U.S. products.

US administration believes that China will address U.S. concerns about supply chain bottlenecks for rare earths and other important minerals such as yttrium, scandium, neodymium and indium.

White House said told that China will also respond to U.S. concerns about bans or limitations on the sale of rare earth manufacturing and processing equipment and technology.

According to White House press section, China authorized a first purchase of 200 US-made Boeing planes for Chinese carriers.

This batch of aircraft, which marks China’s first purchase of American-made Boeing aircraft since 2017, will support high-paying, high-skilled U.S. manufacturing jobs and allow the Chinese people to travel on American-made planes for decades to come.

In addition to the soybean purchase pledges announced in October 2025, China will buy at least $17 billion per year of U.S. agricultural goods in 2026 (prorated), 2027 and 2028.

China has renewed expired registrations of more than 400 U.S. cattle facilities and included new listings, reinstating market access for U.S. beef.  China will cooperate with U.S. authorities to remove all bans of U.S. meat processing plants.

USDA says China has restarted chicken imports from U.S. states designated clear of highly virulent avian influenza.
